FOOD TO MAKE BABY GAIN WEIGHT FAST

If baby is not gaining weight as expected, the mother is always corncerned about the health of the baby. Some mothers are unhappy sometimes ashamed if their baby is not gaining weight as should especially when other babies of the same age are gaining weight rapidly. One of the best ways to help the baby is by increasing his calories intake.I had simillar experience but through extensive study and research i discovered  the food that changed the story. Its name is KUNU GEIDA.
Kunu geida is a baby food prepared from corn / millet /guinea corn and groundnut.Giving your baby this food will make him or her gain weight faster. Its a nutritious food that contains fats, protein, carbohydrate and other nutrients needed for baby's growth and development. Its recommended for babies from 6months and above.
PREPARATION   OF KUNU GEIDA
Preparation of kunu geida has three parts, part 1,2 and part 3.
Part 1 is preparing the corn or  millet or guinea corn pap, part 2 is preparing groundnut paste while part 3 is preparing the main baby food.
Lets start with part 1 first.
Note:You can use either corn, millet or guinea corn to prepare pap.
PART 1:
INGREDIENT
Water
3 cups of corn or millet or guinea corn

EQUIPMENT
Cloth sieve or cheese cloth
cloth bag
2 bowls
blender
PREPARATION
Soak the corn/millet/guinea corn in  water with a bowl, soak  corn for 2days changing water every 12 hrs while millet and guinea corn soak for 12 days.
After the 2 days or 12hrs[millet,guinea corn] wash thoroughly with clean cold water, use blender to blend untill extremely smooth.
The next step is to separate the shaft from the corn/millet/guinea corn starch
Fill a bowl with water[half],pour small quantity of  pureed corn/millet/guinea corn into the seive or cheese cloth, dip it inside the bowl of water and be shaking it ,the starch will be coming out while the shaft will remain in the seive.
When you finish seiving allow the seived corn/millet/guinea corn to rest for 2hrs,the solid part[starch] will settle at the bottom, throw away the excess water and pour the starch into a cloth bag.tie the bag  very tight so as to remove remaining  water.

PART 2
Ingredients
1 cup of groundnut
water
Equipment:
frying pan
blender
PREPARATION
Fry groundnut in a frying pan until it becomes brown in colour.
Using blender, blend it until it becomes soft.[add little water ]
PART 3
Prepararing the baby food
Put 3 spoons of pap[starch] in a plate, add 1/4 glass of water and stir very well.
Boil 3 glasses of water ;pour it into the plate until the pap thickens.
Then put 1 and half spoons of groundnut paste in a plate, add small quantity of water to loosen the thickness.
Bring a small pot and pour both the pap and groundnut paste into it,mix well and heat for 2 minutes
Remove from fire and stir very well, your baby food is ready!
NOTE:You can add sugar  if you like.

  2. very great baby food, there is another way of making this baby cereal by fraying corn, millet, guinea corn, groundnut, soybeans and crayfish then grind to powder form before making it in hot water of desired quantity, this more nutritious than the pap.
